Using the Intercom Feature

The machine and cordless handsets
can be used as an intercom system.
To page another cordless handset, it
must be registered in the machine and
be within range of the machine.
It may not be possible to page another
cordless handset or the machine
when the system is already in use.
Using the Intercom Feature
If nobody answers, press . You
can now press the number of a
different cordless handset, or press
a second time to return to the
initial caller.
Checking the phonebook or call
log
You can check a phone number in the
phonebook (page 23) or call log (page
25) during a call.
1 Press (MENU), or until
“PHONEBOOK” or “CALLS”
appears, and then (Valid.).
2 Press or to scroll through the
entries in the phonebook or calls in
the call log.
3 When you have finished, press .

Paging the machine or another
cordless handset
1 Press the number of the cordless
handset, or press for the
machine, and press .
You can also press , press or
to select the device that you wish to
page (select “HANDSET 0” for the
machine), and then press (Call).
2 The other person answers by
pressing on the paged
cordless phone, or by picking up the
handset on the machine.
3 When you are ready to end the call,
press .
Paging a cordless handset from
the machine (cordless handset
locator)
1 Lift the machine handset.
2 Press (“HS No.=” appears in
the display) and then press the
number of the cordless handset. (To
page all cordless handsets, press
.)
3 The selected cordless handset
rings. (This allows you to locate the
cordless handset if you have
misplaced it.)
4 The other person answers by
pressing on the paged
cordless phone.
