Area Info
The Area Info is the message information that operators send
to subscribers in certain areas.
When you receive Area Info, the message (area code) is
displayed in standby.
Enabling/Disabling Area Info
“Messages”
→ “Area Info”
1. Select “On” or “Off”.
Note
• This function may not be available on all mobile phone
networks. Contact your service provider for more
information.
• If Area Info is set to “On”, the standby time will decrease.

“General Settings”
1. Select the item you wish to set up.
•“Signature”:
Enables or disables “Auto Insert”. Select “Edit” to edit
current signature.
• “Auto Delete”:
Deletes the oldest message automatically, when the
Inbox, Sent or Both (Inbox and Sent) is full.
• “Message List View”:
Switches the mailbox listing (“Two-line View”,
“Sender+Preview”, “Subjects+Preview”, “Sender”,
“Subjects”).
•“Scroll Unit”:
Scroll through messages by “Single Line”, “Half Page”
or “Whole Page”.
• “Message Type”:
Sets the type of message to send by default when a
message is composed. When set to “Free”, the
message is sent automatically either as an SMS or MMS
as appropriate.
