Using T9 English Mode
1. On the text entry screen, press [Options].
2. Select “Input Method”.
3. Select the T9 mode (T9 Abc, T9 ABC, T9 abc) you wish to
change. “ ” is displayed on the main display.
4. Press the keys to enter characters.
5. Press a or b to select the word you wish to input.
6. If you wish to clear the word, highlight it and long press
U.
7. Press B, or press [Options] and select “Done” to complete
the selection.
Tip
• If you press Q instead of step 6, a space is inserted next to
the selected word.
User Dictionary
You can create your own English words for T9 Alphabet text input.
Note
• This function is only available when “Input Language” is set to
“English”.
1. On the text entry screen in T9 mode, press [Options] and
select “User Dictionary”.
2. Select “Add New Word” and enter a new word.
