You can download screensaver applications for the
stand-by screen and set the time period for the
screensaver to activate.
“Java™”
→ “Java™ Settings” → “Set Java™
Wallpaper”
→ “Switch On/Off”
1. Select “On” or “Off”.
To Set the Activation Time
“Java™”
→ “Java™ Settings” → “Set Java™
Wallpaper”
→ “Activation Time”
1. Enter an activation time from 1 to 10 seconds (in 2
digits) using the keypad.
To Set the Suspend Time
“Java™”
→ “Java™ Settings” → “Set Java™
Wallpaper”
→ “Suspend Time”
1. Set the desired time period from “after 15 min.” to
“after 6 hours”.
Surround
1. You can set surround sound for Java™ applications.
“Java™”
→ “Java™ Settings” → “Surround”
1. Select “On” or “Off”.
Default Settings
“Java™” → “Java™ Settings” → “Set to Default”
1. Enter your handset code.
The default handset code is “9999”. For details on
changing the handset code, see “Changing the

Clearing All Memory
