4. Quick Silent
Quickly silence your phone (the ringtone, alarm tone, etc.) just by
turning the phone over.
Note
Make sure to set “Quick Silent” in “Action Settings” to “On”
before using this function.
Depending on the volume and the type of sound, some ringtones
or alarm tones may not be muted.
Showing Secret Data Temporarily
The hidden data in the Phonebook or Calendar can be displayed
temporarily by shaking the phone.
1. Enter the handset code in standby.
2. Shake the phone to the left or right.
The hidden data can be displayed temporarily.
To hide the data again, display the standby screen and close
the phone.
Practicing the Action
You can practice and confirm the actions set in the motion control
settings.

“Action Test”
1. Select “Zoom in/out” or “Select Contents”.
2. Perform the selected action to test the setting.
A confirmation tone sounds when an action is recognized.
Note
Motion control may not function correctly depending on the way
the phone is held or shaken.
When shaking the phone, try to keep it as level as possible.
Do not shake the phone at an angle.
When using motion control, make sure to hold on to the phone
firmly and not to shake the phone too strongly. Confirm that there
is enough space around you to ensure the safety of others.
Failing to do so may result in injury or damage to the phone or
objects near by.
