To Set the AE-Lock
When this setting is enabled, the exposure setting is fixed for the
same brightness level.
“Camera”
→ “Still Camera” → [Options] → “Settings” →
“Panorama Settings”
→ “AE-Lock”
1. Select “Disable” or “Enable”.
Taking Long Exposure Picture
When you take pictures of the moving objects such as fireworks or
take pictures in dark surroundings such as with night
photographing, use this function to avoid taking pictures that are
underexposed and dark.
“Camera”
→ “Still Camera” → [Options] → “Modes” →
“Long Exposure”
1. Select “On” or “Off”.
When “On” is selected, the exposure time is fixed at 4 seconds.
2. Press B to take the picture.
The progress of the exposure and image processing is
displayed.
The still image of the taken picture is displayed when the image
processing is done.
3. Press B to save the picture.
The taken picture is saved in Gallery.
To cancel, press U.
To send the taken picture, press C in step 3.
Note
• When “Long Exposure” is set to “On” during the day or in bright
surroundings, the taken picture may become over exposed and
stark white.
• Use a fixation tool such as a tripod when using long exposure to
prevent camera shake.

You can read QR codes and the text on business cards. For details
on reading barcodes, see page 90. For details on scanning
business cards, see pages 91.
To Read Barcodes
“Camera”
→ “Still Camera” → [Options] → “Barcode/
Scan”
→ “Scan Barcode”
1. Display the barcode.
2. Press [Scan].
The scanned result is displayed.
To Scan Business Cards
“Camera”
→ “Still Camera” → [Options] → “Barcode/
Scan”
→ “Scan Card”
1. Display the business card.
2. Press [Read].
3. Press [Scan] or B.
The scanned result is displayed.
