The FOMA terminal is waterproof to IPX5 and IPX7 standards if the external connector terminal cover is securely closed as well as the back cover is attached and locked, however, it is not completely waterproof.

FOMA card may become warm during using but this is not a malfunction. Customer is responsible for malfunctions arising from inserting FOMA card into a different IC card reader/writer. Always keep IC area clean. Clean only with a soft and dry cloth (such as the type used for eyeglasses).
