SH-08A has a solar electric generating function. Expose the solar

panel to the sunlight to convert solar energy into electric energy

and the battery pack can be charged.

Solar charge can be performed even when the FOMA terminal is turned

off.

Charging can be performed safely and effectively by proper use.

Solar charge can be performed in the following places.

 Outdoors  By a window indoors  By a window in the train, etc.

Charging can be performed effectively by exposing the solar panel part

to the sun. However, do not put the stuff on the surface of the display,

keys or buttons of the FOMA terminal and not twist the FOMA terminal

forcibly to expose the solar panel to the sun. May cause a malfunction or

error.

Note that the amount of charge differs depending on the solar position

and solar altitude even if the length of charge time is same. Also, the

solar position and solar altitude vary with latitude, longitude, season and

hours, etc. of the place the charging is performed.

Estimated times of use when charged with solar energy

*1 Charge time is the estimated time when charging the battery by

exposing the solar panel part to the sun with no battery level.

*2 Time of use may shorten depending on the usage time of the battery

pack, the ambient temperature and the signal status.
