Please be considerate of those around you
when using the FOMA terminal.

When in an area where use is prohibited
Be sure to turn off the FOMA terminal on an
aircraft and in a hospital.
ɦ There are people who use electronic medical
equipment not only inside hospital wards but also
outside hospital wards. Be sure to turn off the
FOMA terminal even in hospital lobby, waiting
room, etc.

When in crowded places such as rush-hour
trains in case somebody nearby is using an
implanted cardiac pacemaker or implanted
cardioverter-defibrillator.
May have harmful effects on the operation of
implanted cardiac pacemakers and implanted
cardioverter-defibrillators.

While driving
Using a mobile phone in hand while driving is
regarded as a punishable act.
However, some cases such as when rescuing sick
and injured people or maintaining public safety are
exempted.

When in public places such as theaters,
movie theaters or museums
Using the FOMA terminal in public places where you
should be quiet results in disturbing others.

Be aware of the volume of your voice when
using the FOMA terminal in quiet places
such as restaurant and hotel lobby.

Use in places where you do not block a
passage in the town.
The FOMA terminal has convenient functions
such as setting not to answer a call and setting
to mute sound of the FOMA terminal.
Manner mode (nP. 78)
Mutes sound of the FOMA terminal
ɦ However, the manner mode cannot mute camera
shutter sound.
Public mode (Power off) (nP. 74)
When a call is received, a message stating that you are
in a place that does not allow the use of mobile phone
is played and the call is disconnected automatically.
Phone vibe (nP. 78)
Notifies you of incoming call with vibration.
Answer Memo (nP. 77)
Records callers’ messages when you cannot answer
the call.
ɦAdditionally, optional services such as Voice Mail
Service (nP. 70) and Call Forwarding Service
(nP. 72) are available.
Check/Change the subscription, apply for various services, and request various information materials online.
