During a communication, the icon is displayed with

Character type
: Kanji : 1-byte alphabet : 1-byte digits
: 1-byte katakana : 2-byte alphabet
: 2-byte digits : 2-byte katakana : Kuten code
Manner mode status
: Standard manner mode : Drive manner mode
: Silent manner mode
During a call using hands-free
Arriving call volume set to “Silent”
Microphone set to “Mute” during a call

Using the Notification/Status Panel
In the notification/status panel, you can check the details on
notification icons and status icons or activate an application
corresponding to a notification.
You can also set the manner mode and check Answering memo.
