Basic adjustment settings
You can adjust the sound quality to your preference
with the following settings.

Press MENU to display the MENU screen, and
then press 4/11_ to select "Audio".
I_ Audio
Surround function allows you to enjoy realistic "live"
sound.
Press MENU to display the MENU screen, and
then press 4/11_ to select "Audio".
Press A/V to select "Surround", and then
press ENTER.
Press 4/11_ to select "On", and then press
ENTER.
Surround [Off]
Press MENU to exit.
Press A/T to select a specific adjustment
item.
,_ You can choose Surround by pressing SURROUND on
the remote control unit. (See page 20.)
Audio menu is grayed out when Output Select is set to
"Variable".
,, For some discs, setup may be required on your DVD
player. In this case, please refer to the operation manual of
your DVD player.
When AV MODE is set to "GAME", the factory preset value
for Surround is "On".
Press 4/11_ to adjust the item to the desired
level.
Treble For weaker treble For stronger treble
Bass For weaker bass For stronger bass
Balance Decrease audio from Decrease audio
the right speaker from the left
speaker
Press MENU to exit.
You can enjoy games with stronger bass when
connecting a subwoofer using the subwoofer terminal.
Press MENU to display the MENU screen, and
then press 4/11_ to select "Audio".
Press A/V to select "Subwoofer', and then
press ENTER.
Press 4/11_ to select "On", and then press
ENTER.
Press MENU to exit.
Audio menu is grayed out when Output Select is set to
"Variable".
For resetting all Audio adjustment items to the factory
preset values, press A/_' to select "Reset", press ENTER,
press 4/1_ to select "Yes", and then press ENTER.
When AV MODE is set to "GAME", the factory preset value
for Subwoofer is "On".
Audio menu is grayed out when Output Select is set to
"Variable".
