Sets which USA movie rating to lock for viewing.
The movie ratings levels are defined as fellewing:
G: General audience.
= PG: Parental guidance suggested.
= PG-I 3: Unsuitable for children under 13.
= R: Restricted, under 17 requires companying
parent or adult guardian.
= NC-17: No one under 17 admitted.
= X: Mature audience only.
A _ icon indicates the rating type is blocked.
Content with this rating and all higher ratings cannot
be viewed.
Sets which Canadian English TM rating to lock for
viewing.
The lM rating systems in Canada are based on the
Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications
Commission (CRTC) policy on violence in television
programming.
= C8+: Contains no portrayal of violence as the
prderred, acceptable, or only way to resolve
conflict; nor encourage children to imitate
dangerous acts which they may see on the screen.
= G: Considered acceptable for all age groups.
Appropriate viewing for the entire family, contains
very little violence, physical, verbal or emotional.
= PG: Intended let a general audience, but may net
be suitable for younger children (under the age of
8) because it could contain controversial themes or
issues.
= 14+: Could contain themes where violence is one
of the dominant elements of the steryline, but it
mus! be integral to the development of plot or
character. Language usage could be prolane and
nudity present within the context of the theme.
= 18+: Intended for viewers 18 years and older and
might contain depictions of violence, which while
related to the development of plot, character or
themes, are intended let adult viewing. Could
contain graphic language and portrayals of sex and
nudity.

16arts+: Could contain frequent violent scenes and
intense violence.
= 18arts+: Only for adult viewing. Could centain
frequent violent scenes and extreme violence.

Content with this rating and all higher ratings cannot
be viewed.
Restores the Parental Control settings to the
factory defaults.
The Power Indicator on the front of your lM normally
does not glow when the lM is on. You cars change
,, Off: Turns the Power Indicator light off.
Sets which alternative region rating standard to lock
or reviewing. ,, On: Turns the Power Indicator light on.
You can run Easy Setup again, even after setting up
the preset channels. Refer to "Initial Installation" on
page 13 for more information.
* if no channel is found, confirm the type of connection
made with your TV and try "Easy Setup" again.
In the New Passwoml field, enter your new 4-digit
parental control password.
Then, in the Re..f-!nfer Passwoml field, re--enter your
new 4 -digit parental control password.
Views the lV model name, firmware version, revision
number, source type, resolution, and version
frequency information.
Restores the TM to its factory default settings,
* if you restore the TV to the factory defauR settings, all
changes you have made to the settings will be lost.
* The defauR password is "0000".
The Canadian English rating levels are defined as
following:
= C: Intended for younger children under the age of 8
years. Pays careful attention to themes that could
threaten their sense of security and well-being.
= G: All ages and children, contains minimal direct
violence, but maybe integrated into the plot in a
humorous or unrealistic manner.
* 8arts+: May be viewed by a wide public audience,
but could contain scenes disturbing to children
under 8 who cannot distinguish between imaginary
and real situations. Recommended for viewing with
parent.
= 13arts+: Could contain scenes of frequent violent
scenes and therefore recommended for viewing
with parent.
