BEFORE USING THE MACHINE►LOADING PAPER
Loading paper
Be sure to return the levers to the "normal pressure position" before printing or copying on paper other than envelopes.
Otherwise, fusing problems, paper misfeeds, or equipment failure may occur.
The fusing unit is hot. Take care not to burn yourself when operating the fusing unit release levers.

Open the bypass tray and the
extension tray.
Do not place heavy objects on the bypass tray or press down on the tray.

Push the centre of the pressure plate
down until it locks into place.

Set the paper guides to the copy paper
width.
