Loading the batteries for the remote
control
1 Remove the battery compartment cover.
2 Insert 2 "AA" size batteries (UM/SUM-3, R6, HP-7 or similar)
into the battery compartment.
When inserting the batteries, push them towards the battery
terminals.
Placing the batteries the wrong way round can cause the unit
to malfunction.
3 Replace the battery compartment cover.

Battery removal:
Push the batteries towards the battery terminals to remove
them.
Precautions for battery use:
Insert the batteries according to the direction indicated in the
battery compartment.
Replace all old batteries with new ones at the same time.
Remove the battery if weak or if the unit is not in use for
long periods to prevent potential damage due to battery leak-
age.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Caution:
Do not use rechargeable batteries (nickel-cadmium battery, etc.).
