Information
Electric power consumption of a device depends on its characteristics and
the way you use it. Sharp MFP model MX-M5051 is designed and set to save
electricity costs. After the last use, it switches to “Ready” mode. From there,
it can be used again immediately, if required. If not required, it switches to
energy-saving modes in two steps after a certain time, called activation time.
In these, it consumes less power (watts). If you want to use it again, the device
will take a little longer from the energy-saving mode than from the "Ready" mode.
This delay is called return time.
The device is designed to be switched on and off up to twice a day in the
switch-off mode without damage. This device does not have a power switch
that can be used to completely disconnect the device from the mains. If you
wish to do so, or if the device is not in use for a longer time, please disconnect
the power plug of the device after switching off the device via the power button
and
the main power switch.
The following table shows the individual values of the power consumption as
well as the activation and return times. At the time of delivery, the values
mentioned there are set. With them, the device meets the requirements of
Blue Angel. * The values are measured in the as-shipped conditions without accessories.
** The activation time is the time that elapses after the end of the
printing process until the device switches to the mode.
The figures in brackets indicate the range in which you can change
the activation time.
*** The return time is the time the device needs to return to ready
mode for printing.
