Select settings in the touch panel. (Continued)
(4) Select [Group] from the "Address Type" select
box.
(5) Touch the "Search Number" text box.
The "Search Number" is automatically assigned. You
can touch the search number text box and change the
number with the numeric keys. However, a number that
is already in use cannot be used.
(6) Touch the "Address Name" text box.
A text entry screen appears. Enter the name of the
destination (max. of 36 characters). For the procedure
for entering text, see "6. ENTERING TEXT" in the
User's Guide.
To have a name different from the "Address Name"
appear in the address book, touch the "Key Name" text
box. Up to 18 characters can be entered.
(7) Touch the "Initial" text box.
A text entry screen appears. Enter search characters
for the destination (max. of 10 characters).
(8) Select [User 1] from the "Custom Index" select
box.
The custom index selected here can be used in the
address book screen.
If you wish to have the destination appear on the
"Frequent Use" tab, touch the "Register this Address to
be added to the [Frequent Use] index." checkbox .
(9) Touch the [Address Book] key.

Touch the key of the next destination that you
want to store in the group.
The selected key is highlighted.
To store a destination that is not stored in a one-touch
key, touch the [Direct Entry] key and enter the address.

Touch the [Back] key.
