Polaris
®
Office
Polaris® Oce is divided into a word processor, spreadsheet editor, presentation editor, and a le viewer. It is capable of
reading and exporting in Microsoft Oce le formats, viewing PDF and image les, and decompressing ZIP les.
Opening the Polaris® Office
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Polaris® Office.

Enter the name and e-mail address > Register.

When you start to use the Polaris® Oce, the user is asked to be registered. After you register it once, the user
registration never shows. If you don’t want to register it, tap Later.

My folders, Google docs and Box.net are displayed.

On the My folders screen, you can view the documents stored on the microSD card.
ħ
If you register your Google docs or Box.net Account, you can view the documents in Google docs or Box.net
server on your phone and download them to the microSD card.
Using the Google docs/Box.net
Registering the Google docs or Box.net Account
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Polaris® Office.
2. Tap Google docs or Box.net. Or press Menu > New > New Account > tap Google docs or Box.

3. Enter the e-mail address and Password > Add.
Using the Google docs/Box.net
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Polaris® Office.
2. Tap Google docs or Box.net.
3. The les and folder lists in
Google docs or Box.net are displayed.

To download them, tap the le you want > OK > Move to the target Folder and tap Select.

To upload the le from the microSD card to Google docs or Box.net, press Menu > Upload > Tap the
folder which has the le you want to upload > Tap the le you want to upload.
Viewing a document
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Polaris® Office.
2. Tap My folders > Select the folder/le with a desired le in it.

Supported formats-Microsoft Word 97-2007 (.doc & .docx), Microsoft Excel 97-2007 (.xls & .xslx), Microsoft PowerPoint
97-2007 (.ppt & .pptx), Adobe PDF, Text (.txt), Web pages (.html), Hansoft Hangul 97-3.0, 2002-2007 (.hwp), Image les
(Bitmap, GIF, JPEG, PNG, WBMP, and WMF), Zip archives.

When you double-tap, the screen gets enlarged. Then, the pages panel appears at the left top.(Depending on le
formats, the menu may vary.) You can sweep and scroll the screen in the direction of where you want to view and
double-tap to make the screen reduced.
