Places
Use Places to nd places of interest near your current location.
NOTE
You need an active mobile data or Wi-Fi connection to use Places.
In order to nd your location on your phone, you need to enable location services. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings >
Location & security. And select one or both of the Use wireless networks, Use GPS satellites.
Searching for a place
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Places.
Or, While viewing a map, tap

2. From the Places categories,

Tap the place you want to search from a set of pre-listed place types(Restaurants, Coffee, Bars, Hotels, Attractions,
ATMs, Gas Stations).

Add to create your own category > Enter the place you want to add to Places’ search items > Add. The place is
added as a button on the Places categories.

Tap the Find places eld on top of the screen > Enter the place you want to search > Tap

3. The search results display in a list, with their general distance from your current position and relative location indicated
by

Tap
to see your results on a Map.

Tap a place to view more information about the place.
