standard interface.

Confirm COM1 or COM2 is set to RS-232 in the Advanced menu of
the Setup Utility.
Question: Why does the GlidePoint not function correctly?
•
Confirm the surface of the GlidePoint is not wet.
•
Confirm the item of the GlidePoint in the Advanced menu of the
Setup Utility is Enabled.

If a PS/2 mouse is connected to the notebook, the GlidePoint does
not work. Remove the PS/2 mouse.
Question: Why does the mouse not function correctly?
•
If you are using a PS/2 mouse, confirm the item of GlidePoint in the
Setup Utility is set to Enabled. If you are using a serial mouse,
confirm the item of GlidePoint in the Setup Utility is set to
Disabled.
