4. Use the green button to turn on or off the display to the built-in screen (called
Panel in this window) and the external monitor (called Monitor in this window).
5. If both displays are activated, and you want to use dual independent displays,
use the blue button to set one display to
Primary
, and the other display to
Secondary
. See

later in this chapter for information
about

Secondary.
6. Click on
Apply
and verify that the display is the way you want it.
7. If you want to adjust the appearance of an external monitor, click on the
Monitor
button and make changes to the
Screen Position
,
Size
, and
Synchronization
.
8. Click on
Apply
and verify that the display is the way you want it, then click on
OK
.
9. You can name the current scheme and assign a hotkey to later quickly change
the display settings to this scheme.
