MISCELLANEOUS DISCHARGE(S)
DECK GUN
One (1) Akron #3433 1,200 GPM manual deck gun with #5160 automatic nozzle, and #2499 stack tips shall be provided
and mounted on the deck gun discharge pipe. The discharge shall terminate with a 6-bolt flange with NSTM threads.
The discharge shall include:
One (1) Akron Brass 8000 series, 3" valve(s)
- Valve(s) shall be controlled with a push/pull type chromed "T" handle with adjustable linkage connected to the
valve. The control handle shall be located adjacent to the plumbing connection.
One (1) Innovative Controls model 3003000, ¾” brass 90 degree ball type drain valve with lift handle fitting and
color coded labels shall be provided for the above plumbing item. The valve shall be able to manually open the
drain valve when the line is under pressure and will be located on pump panel and plumbed to drain the lowest
point in the plumbing.
One (1) Class 1 2½” liquid filled gauge(s)
- This gauge(s) shall have a white background with black text.
- The above gauge shall have a range from 0 to 400 psi.
BOOSTER REEL
There shall be one (1) Hannay aluminum booster hose reel discharge with electric rewind motor located above the pump
module on the streetside of the apparatus. The booster reel shall have a capacity of 200' of 1" booster hose.
The booster reel discharge shall include:
One (1) Akron Brass 8000 series, 1" valve(s)
