ShoulditbecomenecessarytochangecardsintheTCUusethefollowingprocedure:
STEP 1
GototheSystem>Service>Versionscreenandnotetherevisionlevelsofthe
PCMandMCMcardsiftheyaregoingtobechanged.
STEP 2 Turnoffthetransmitteranddisconnectpowerfromthetransmittercabinet
ordisconnecttheACplug(s)fromtherearoftheTCU.
STEP 3 UsethefingerholecutoutsbuiltintothesidesoftheTCUfrontpanelas
handles,pulloutwardanddownonthefrontpanel.
STEP 4 RemovefourrackmountingfastenersfromtheeachsidesoftheTCUfront.
STEP 5 PulltheTCUchassisoutoftherackasfarastheslidesallow.
STEP 6 TheTCUcanbepivoteddownwardforeasieraccesstothecards.Thisisdone
byremovingthefrontscrewoneithersideoftheTCUslidebrackets.
Warning
THE TCU MUST BE SUPPORTED WHILE REMOVING THESE SCREWS TO KEEP IT
FROM FALLING DOWNWARD RAPIDLY.
