STEP 1
IfsystemcontainsdualLPUsmanualmodeandmaketheLPUthatwillhave
thebatterychangetheinactiveunit.
STEP 2 DisconnectACmains powerfromtheLPUchassis.
Warning
REMOVE ALL POWER TO THE LPU BEFORE PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING PRO-
CEDURE.

STEP 3 Iftheunitisnotmountedinarackproceedtostep4.Ifrackmountedthe
UAXLPUmustberemovedfromtherack.Removecablesfromthebackof
theLPUusinga5/16”(8mm)openendwrenchandasmallstraightslot
screwdriver.RemoveorlowertheLPUfr
ontpanelandthefourPhillips
screwsthatholdtheLPUintherack.SlidetheLPUoutoftherackandplace
itonasturdytableorbench.
STEP 4 RemovethefourPhi llipsscrewsonthetop,rearoftheLPUthatsecurethe
chassiscover.RemovethecoverbyslidingittowardtherearoftheLPUand
liftingitupward.
STEP 5 Besurethattheconnectoronthebackofthebatterybackupboardaligns
andseatsproperlyonthepowersupplyboardconnector.Thepowersupply
boardstandoffsarelocatedonthefrontleftsideoftheLPU.
