CHAPTER -1: GENERAL WARNINGS * * * * * WARNING: Keep the ventilation openings of the Fridge Freezer clear from obstruction. WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process. WARNING: Do not use other electrical appliances inside the Fridge Freezer WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. WARNING: To avoid personal injury or damage this appliance must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer instructions.

CHAPTER -1: GENERAL WARNINGS Disposal • All packaging and materials used are environmentally friendly and recyclable. Please dispose of any packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Consult your local council for further details. • When the appliance is to be scrapped, cut off the electrical supply cable and destroy the plug and cable. Disable the door catch in order to prevent children becoming trapped inside. • A cut off plug inserted into a 13 amp socket is a serious safety (shock) hazard.
CHAPTER -1: GENERAL WARNINGS Electrical Connection (For UK type plug) For your safety please read the following information Warning: This appliance must be earthed. This appliance operates from 220-240 volts and should be protected by a 13 amp fuse in the plug. The appliance is supplied with a standard 13 amp 3-pin mains plug fitted with a 13-amp fuse. Should the fuse require replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at 13 amp and approved to BS1362.

CHAPTER -3: USING YOUR FRIDGE FREEZER • There is a five minute delay function prevent damage to the compressor of your fridge when you plug the appliance in or when there is a power cut. CHAPTER -4: FOOD STORAGE GUIDANCE Refrigerator compartment • • • • To reduce frost build up never place liquids with unsealed containers in the fridge compartment. Allow warn or hot food to cool down before storing. This helps reduce power consumption. To avoid frost buildup ensure that nothing is stored touching the back wall. The coldest area of the refrigerator is at the bottom. We recommend to use this area to store food that will perish easily, such as fish, ready meals, baked goods or dairy products.
CHAPTER -6: TROUBLESHOOTING Check Warnings; If your fridge is not operating; • Is there any electrical fault? • Is the plug is placed properly in the socket outlet? • Is the fuse of the socket outlet that the plug is plugged or the main fuse blown? • Is the thermostat setting is on “ ” position? • Is there any fault in the socket outlet? Examine this by plugging your fridge into a socket outlet which you are sure that is working.
CHAPTER -7: TROUBLESHOOTING • The cooling unit of your refrigerator is hidden in the rear wall. Therefore, water droplets or ice may occur on the rear surface of your fridge due to the operation of the compressor in specified intervals. This is normal. There is no need to perform a defrosting operation unless the ice is excessive. • If you will not use your fridge for a long time (e.g. in summer holidays), put the thermostat to “•” position.
CHAPTER -9: SERVICE & WARRANTY If you are unable to resolve a problem using the checks covered in the last few pages, do not attempt to service this fridge freezer yourself.
