Faxes
RESOLUTION/
RECEPTION
When the reception mode is set to FAX, the fax machine will automatically
answer all calls on one ring (the number of rings can be changed as explained
below) and receive incoming faxes.
1 ring Fax reception
♦ If you pick up the handset before the machine answers, you can talk to the
other party and/or receive a fax as explained in
Using TEL Mode on page
90.
♦ Make sure the operation panel is closed, or the paper may jam when
received faxes are printed.
Changing the number of rings
If desired, you can change the number of rings on which the fax machine
answers incoming calls in FAX and TEL/FAX mode. Any number from 1 to 4
can be selected.
1 Press once and 3 times.
To select FAX mode, press
until FAX appears
in the display.
