q Programming theTimer with G-CODES
This VCR has the G-CODE Programming System. By simply inputting the G-CODE number with the 1-9
numeric buttons, you can programme your VCR for timer recording.
The G-CODE numbers are listed in most newspaper, TV guide, and local cable TV listings.
The timer can be set for automatic recording of up to 8 events over a 365 day period. In addition, each
of the events can be set to be recorded on a daily or weekly basis up to the limit of the tape.
PREPARATION:
@Load the cassette, ensuring the erasure protection hole is covered. The VCR power bill automatically
turn on.
@Check that the clock is displaying the correct time.

@ Press the MENU button.
@ Select G-CODE setting mode with the A or v
button and then press the SET button.
@ Set the G-CODE number with the numeric (0 to
9) buttons.

l For the G-CODE number, refer to your newspaper or TV
guide.
l Press the G-CODE button (for VC-H660X) or the G-CODE/
TIMER button (for VC-A260X/A460X) on the remote
control to directly select this screen.
@ If you want to record only once, press the SET
button and go to step 0. Otherwise, press the
A or v button to select daily/weekly setting
mode, and then select ‘ID (DAILY)” or “W
(WEEKLY)” by pressing the 4 / b buttons. And
then press the SET button.

“ONCE”:
To record only once.
“D (DAILY)“:
To record every day at the same time.
“W (WEEKLY)“: To record every week at the same time.
@ If you are going to record a programme from a
station which does not have the PR number
programmed, (“m ”

number to be the same as the PR number to
which your broadcasting channel is set into. (See
