Camera Recording

3 Toggle the CONTROL switch (Q) to
select “MULTI FRAME”, then press the
CONTROL switch (W) to select “9” (9-
frame picture) or “16” (16-frame picture).
4 Press the EXIT button (MODE DISPLAY)
to turn off the menu screen.
Using Multiple Strobe Recording
1 In Recording Standby mode,
press the SNAP button.
• A multi-frame picture of the
subject is displayed.
2 Press the REC START/STOP button.
• The multi-frame picture will be recorded.
In SNAP mode, the VIEWCAM returns to
Recording Standby mode after recording
a multi-frame picture for 6 seconds.
SNAP
To pause recording, press the REC START/
STOP button.
To cancel the multi-frame picture, press the
SNAP button in Recording Standby mode.
STILL
To pause recording, press the REC START/
STOP button.
To cancel the multi-frame picture, press the
SNAP button.
Notes:
• The Multiple Strobe Recording can also be used
during recording by pressing the SNAP button.
• The picture quality in Multiple Strobe Recording
mode will be slightly lower than normal pictures.
• The Multiple Strobe Recording cannot be
used with the digital zoom, Digital Quick
Zoom, picture effects, or 1/30 sec. shutter
speed.
Multiple Strobe Recording
The multiple strobe recording function allows
you to record a fast-moving subject at intervals
of 1/10 of a second using a 9- or 16-frame
picture. This is useful when you want to check
your form in sports such as tennis or golf.
Setting Multiple Strobe Recording
Mode
1 In Recording Standby mode, display the
menu screen (see page 25).
2 Toggle the CONTROL switch (Q) to
select “PHOTO SNAP”, then press the
CONTROL switch (W) to select “SNAP”
or “STILL”.
SNAP: A multi-frame picture is recorded
for 6 seconds.
STILL: A multi-frame picture is continu-
ously recorded until the REC START/
STOP button is pressed again.
Note: The Multiple Strobe Recording cannot
be used with PHOTO SHOT mode.
