Hardware Based Kits
A hardware based DVR is built specifically for video re-
cording. These units are built from the ground up to per-
form one specific function, record video. While they do
operate some software internally, the video processing is
hardware based. It is this hardware which provides the
live viewing and high resolution recording.
Our units now offer H.264 video compression for superior
quality recording, smaller file sizes and faster remote
video transmission. With video motion detection, remote
viewing, PTZ camera control, DVD quality 720x480 re-
cording resolution and DVD/USB backup this DVR is per-
fect any size home or business.

The AP-KIT4/4-80 is a complete 4 security camera kit which includes a 4 channel, fully integrated, hardware based standalone
digital video recorder (DVR). No PC is required with this system; just plug in any standard TV, CCTV monitor or computer moni-
tor and begin recording up to 30 frames per second (FPS) right away. This standalone DVR runs an imbedded Linux operating
system and includes a remote control for easy setup and operation. With night vision, alarm input/output DVD quality 720x480
resolution and DVD/USB backup this DVR is perfect for the home or small business. As with all our products, free unlimited life-
time technical support is included should you ever need help setting up your DVR.
A variety of recording modes are supported by this DVR. These include; scheduling, motion detected recording, continuous re-
cording or a combination of any modes.
