2.6.4 Fintek F81216D LPC Serial Port Chipset
The KINO-6612 has a Fintek F81216D chipset onboard that enables the addition of four
additional UART serial ports (COM3, COM4, COM5 and COM6). UART includes 16-byte
send/receive FIFO. The Fintek serial port chipset is interfaced to the Southbridge chipset
through the LPC bus. Some of the features of the Fintek chipset are listed below:
 Supports LPC interface
 Totally provides 4 UART (16550 asynchronous) ports
o 1 x Pure UART
o 1 x UART+IR
 One Watch dog timer with WDTOUT# signal
 One Frequency input 24/48MHz
 Powered by 3Vcc
The Fintek is interfaced to four RS-232 onboard serial port connectors.

The PCI interface on the SIS964 Southbridge is compliant with the PCI Revision 2.3
