Power Requirements This straightening iron is intended for household use. Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only. This unit is designed to be operated at 120 volts A/C. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other.) As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
To Straighten Hair 1. Before using the straightening iron, hair should be clean and completely dry. 2. Plug the straightening iron into an electrical outlet. 3. Turn on the unit. The Power/Low 284°F setting illuminates. Allow the unit to heat up for 30 seconds. WARNING: The straightening iron’s pure ceramic plates will get very hot within a few seconds and should not be placed in contact with the skin after the straightening iron has been turned on.
To Straighten Hair the tension, slowly pull the unit down along the section of hair toward the end of hair. For best results, use a light styling product before blow-drying hair. At the end of the hair section, release the pressure on the handle and allow the hair to slide out. Repeat the process on additional sections of hair until you achieve the desired hairstyle. It may be necessary to repeat the process on certain areas, depending on the texture of your hair.
