Limited Stain Warranty
If, within the term of your warranty, your carpet becomes stained
by a food or beverage spill and you cannot remove the stain using
the recommended procedures in the Lowe’s Carpet Care Guide,
contact the appropriate manufacturer for assistance.
If the stain cannot be removed, Lowe’s will provide replacement
carpet for the affected area (the stained and adjacent areas
extending to the nearest wall, doorway or entrance) with identical
carpet, or carpet of comparable cost.The replacement carpet is not
covered under this agreement.
If replacement is authorized, you will be responsible for paying for
cushion, labor and disposal costs for carpet. All replacements must
be completed within six months of the first report of the stain to
the appropriate manufacturer. Disposal of original carpet is required.
In some instances, non-permanent stains may reappear after
removal due to wicking or residual resoiling. Warranty coverage
for these non-permanent stains is limited to telephone stain
removal assistance from the appropriate manufacturer and, if
necessary, a maximum of two (2) professional cleaner visits.
NOTE: To the extent carpets carry warranties provided by
the fiber manufacturers and/or carpet manufacturers,
such warranties will take precedence over the Lowe’s
warranties. Contact the store where you purchased
the carpet for any warranty issues or questions.
