Warranty Guide

If your Lowe’s carpet fails to perform as warranted (this carpet
must retain a texture rating of at least 3.0 under warranted
conditions), Lowe's will coordinate replacement with carpet of
comparable cost for the affected area only (and adjacent areas
extending to the nearest wall, doorway, or entrance) per the
General Terms and Conditions stated in this warranty booklet.
If replacement is authorized, you will be responsible for paying
for cushion, labor and disposal costs for carpet. All replacements
must be completed within six months of the first report of the
problem to the appropriate manufacturer. Disposal of original
carpet is required.
The replacement carpet is not covered under this agreement.
Carpet installed outdoors, on stairs, in bathrooms, or kitchens or in
areas subject to other than ordinary foot traffic is specifically
excluded from this warranty, as is damage caused by improper
installation and/or improper cleaning methods and materials.
Satisfaction Replacement
If at any time during the Satisfaction Replacement term, you wish to
change your new carpet - for any reason - (other than as expressly
noted below), Lowe’s will coordinate replacement with another
style or color of carpet of comparable cost. Should you wish to
replace the carpet with carpet at a higher cost, you may do so by
paying the difference in price. No monetary compensation will be
paid if a lower price of carpet is selected.
This is a one-time replacement and does not cover the cost of
labor to install the replacement carpet you select. Contact the
Lowe’s store where you purchased the carpet if you wish to use
your Satisfaction Replacement.
The Satisfaction Replacement does not apply to conditions covered
by any warranty. No replacements will be made for carpet that has
been glued down, subject to abuse, vandalism, alteration, or damage
caused by smoke, fire, flood, wind, lightning, or any disaster.

• These warranties only apply to:
1. Carpet that is part of the Lowe’s 25 Year / 15 Year / 10 Year /
5 Year Collection.
2. Carpet installed in owner-occupied indoor residential space
where no commercial activity, including rental or day care, takes
place.Warranty service applies to qualified carpet purchased and
installed in the USA.
