Fade Resistance Limited Warranty
Fade resistance coverage is prorated after the 10th year
based on the date of purchase.
When STAINMASTER
®
carpet cushion is purchased and
installed with STAINMASTER
®
carpet, an additional three
years will be added to the Lowe’s Extended Warranty.
INVISTA warrants that with proper care and maintenance,
your STAINMASTER
®
carpet with SolarMax
Fiber
Technology will not fade from exposure to sunlight or
atmospheric contaminants (i.e., Ozone or Oxides of
Nitrogen). This warranty coverage applies to indoor carpet
installations only and excludes stairs. If the carpet is found
to have a rating of 3 or less on the AATCC Gray Scale** and
is the result of light ozone, or oxides of nitrogen exposure,
Lowe’s will coordinate the repair or replacement of your
STAINMASTER
®
carpet in the affected area.
If the noticeable color change due to sunlight or
atmospheric contaminants exceeds the AATCC Gray Scale
criterion, Lowe’s will coordinate the repair or replacement
of the affected area of your carpet and will handle such
claims per the Terms and Conditions stated in this warranty
booklet. INVISTA will pay the percentage of the original
purchase price of the carpet and labor costs associated
with removing and disposing your old carpet, and installi
ng the replacement carpets. If the identical carpet is not
available, a STAINMASTER
®
carpet of comparable style,
quality, color and value, as determined solely by INVISTA,
will be provided. Cash refunds will not be offered.
