Carpet Care & Maintenance Guidelines
Stain Removal. Treatment of the affected area should begin
immediately upon discovery. The more time that elapses
before treatment, the more difficult a stain may be to remove.
1. Act quickly when anything is dropped or spilled.
Remove spots before they dry.
2. Always work from outer edge of the stain
towards the center to avoid spreading.
3. Remove any solid particles that are present with
a spoon or dull knife.
4. Blot up the stain with a white cloth or paper
towel. Do not rub as the carpet may fuzz.
5. If carpet is under warranty call manufacturer’s
“800” number for further instruction.
In addition to cleaning your carpet by using the above
cleaning procedures, you must have the affected area of
your carpet professionally cleaned at your expense, if the
area remains unsatisfactory after professional cleaning,
contact Lowe’s within 30 days of the professional carpet
cleaning*. Lowe’s will coordinate replacement with carpet
of comparable cost for the affect area only (and adjacent
areas extending to the nearest wall, doorway or entrance)
per the General Terms and Conditions stated in this
warranty booklet. If replacement is authorized, you will not
be responsible for paying for labor and disposal costs for
the carpet. All replacements must be completed within six
months of the first report of the problem to the appropriate
manufacturer. Replacement cushion is not included.
*An invoice or other documentation signed by the vendor is required.
