ort ment Remote Control • Remote Control Operation Install the batteries into the remote control. Point the remote control at the remote sensor on the front panel. The remote control works within a distance of about 8 meters from the sensor and within an angle of about 30 degrees from the left and right side.
Remote Control • REPLACING THE BATTERIES 1. Open the battery compartment by sliding the cover back. 2. Insert the new battery as pictured making you have observed the correct polarity 3. Close the battery compartment. NOTE: Remove the batteries when you don’t intend to use the remote control for a long time. Do not mix new and used batteries, or different types of batteries. Weak batteries can leak and severely damage the remote control.
Connection • LINE IN mode connection You can connect the GS-SB311 to your mobile phone, Tablet PC ,MP3 / PM4 player or TV set using the LINE IN jack located on the back side of the unit. Connect the supplied jack <-> jack cable(3,5mm) with the LINE IN socket and plug the other side into the headphone connection of your mobile phone, tablet PC or MP3 / MP4 player. • FM Mode Press the SOURCE button until the GS-SB311 switches to the FM mode or press MODE button on the IR remote control.
w Connection • Bluetooth Connection To pair the GS-SB311 with your Smartphone or other Bluetooth enabled device hit mode to enter Bluetooth mode. Enable the Bluetooth function on your Smartphone or other bluetooth enabled device and hit scan for GS-SB311. When found choose it from the list. • USB Mode You have the option to play MP3 music tracks on a USB flash drive on the GS-SB311. Insert the USB stick with the MP3 music tracks into the socket marked "USB" on the back side of the GS-SB311.
Connection • Optical connection You will need: An audio source with an Optical Audio Output and a Digital Optical Audio cable (not included). Connect the Digital Optical Audio cable to the optical output on the audio source and to the Optical Input on the speaker bar . Press the Mode button on the remote control to switch to Optical mode or select the SOURCE button on main unit repeatedly to select the Optical mode. Audio from the connected audio source will now be played through the speakers.
