3.4.8 Default Settings
If the camera can't work normally due to wrong settings, user can reset it to factory default
setting.
1.In setup mode, press【Down】key to select "Default Settings" icon;
2. Press【OK】key to enter into the menu of “Default Settings”;
3. Press【Up/Down】key to select the desired operation: Cancel/OK.
When selecting”Cancel ”, the default setting is not restored, when selecting “OK”, press
【OK】key to execute and back to the setup mode automatically.
4. Press【OK】key to save and back to menu.
This function supports touch operation:
1.In setup mode, click the“ ”icon to enter into the menu of “Default Settings”.
2.Click the“ ”icon to enter into the menu, click the “ ”and“ ”to select the option.
3.Click the“ ”icon to save and back to menu.
3.4.9 Version
This function is to check the firmware of the camera.
In setup mode, press【Down】key to select “Version”,and then the current version
information will be shown on the right side of the screen.
3.5WiFi
The camcorder supports WiFi connection, it can be operated by mobile phone via WiFi
connection.
3.5.1 In video or photo mode, press【Menu】key 3s to open the WiFi function, “AP mode”、
“SSID:HDV”,“PWA2:12345678”/“Refresh”and“WIFI_OFF”will be shown on the top left
corner of the screen.
3.5.2 Press【Up/Down】key to switch between “Refresh”and ”WIFI_OFF”. When selecting
“Refresh”, press 【OK】key to refresh the WiFi signal, when selecting “WIFI_OFF”, press
【OK】key to turn off the WiFi function.
3.5.3 APP download
There are two ways to download the APP.
Download by search: For Android devices, search the APP”RoadCam” in APP market , then
download and install it . For IOS devices , search the APP”RoadCam” in the APP Store , then
download and install it.
Or by scanning the following QR code to download:
3.5.4 Long press【Menu】key to turn on the WIFI function, search for Wifi devices with your
mobile phone, and the WIFI name of the camera is“ＨＤＶ”, click connect the device, enter
the password”12345678”as prompted, and click to confirm the connection.
3.5.5 Turn on the APP“Roadcam”in the phone, the camera can be remotely photographed,
recorded, played back and other related operations.
Notice: The operating method of android system and apple system may be a little
different, but the installation method is consistent, user can operate according to the
software characteristics of different mobile phones.
