9 .1 Rout in g Table
This page shows t he rout er’s cor e routing table.
The m ain duty for a router is to look for a best pat h for
every dat a packet , and transfer t his dat a packet t o a
destination st ation. I n order to fulfill this function, m any
transferring pat hs, i.e. routing table, are saved in t he
router, for choosing when needed.
9 .2 Sta t ic Rout ing
This screen is used to set t he router ’s st atic routing.
A stat ic route is a pre- determ ined pathway t hat net work
inform ation m ust t ravel to reach a specific host or
net work.
