• Speech rate
Slide to set how quickly you want the synthesiser to speak.
• Pitch
Slide to set the pitch you want the synthesiser to speak.
Touch PLAY to play a brief sample of the speech synthesiser,
using your current settings.
Touch RESET to reset the speed or pitch at which the text is
spoken to normal or default.
11.15.2 Gestures
Jump to camera
Touch the switch to enable/disable Jump to camera function.
This function is to quickly open the camera by pressing the
Power key twice.
Prevent ringing
Touch to set prevent ringing mode.
Swipe up on Home Button
Touch the switch to enable/disable Swipe up on Home button
function.
When enabled, you can swipe up on the Home button to view all
recent opened apps. Swipe up again to see all apps. This function
works from any screen. The Recents button will no longer exist
when this function is enabled.
Lift to wake device
Touch the switch to enable/disable Lift to wake device function.
When enabled, your phone screen will be automatically turned
on when you lift your device.
11.15.3 Date & time
Use Date & time settings to customise your preferences for how
date and time are displayed.
Automatic date & time
Touch to select Use network-provided time or Off.
Set date
Touch to open a dialogue where you can manually set the
phone’s date.
Set time
Touch to open a dialogue where you can manually set the
phone’s time.
Automatic time zone
Touch to use the network-provided time zone. Or turn it off to set
all values manually.
Select time zone
Touch to open a dialogue where you can set the phone’s time
zone.
Automatic 24-hour format
Touch the switch to enable/disable Automatic 24-hour format.
Use 24-hour format
Switch on to display the time using 24-hour clock format.

Back up to Google Drive
Touch the switch to back up your phone’s settings and other
application data to Google Servers, with your Google Account.
