Package Includes: ・ 1 x VTag AntiLoss Device ・ 1 x CR2032 Coin Battery ・ 1 x Quick User Guide Battery Installation & Replacement To Install Battery 1. Open battery cover by rotating clockwise. (Use a coin or other suitable tool to remove the battery cover from the VTag.) 2. Insert the CR2032 battery into slot, push down until battery is fully seated and tightly close battery cover. To Replace Battery 1. Use a paper clip to remove battery from slot. NOTE: Only use CR2032 Coin Battery in VTag.
Steps to SET UP VTag iPhone 4s, 5, 5s or 5c, iPod Touch 5, New iPad, iPad w/ Retina Display, iPad Mini, only! VTag Blue Smart App for Android should be available May 2014. Once setup is complete go directly to Discovery to learn the Find Me and other features to use your VTag. Ensure Bluetooth is turned ON for your iPhone/iPad. (Settings ==> General ==> Bluetooth ==> On) Step 1: Install VTag Blue Smart App ➢ Scan/Take Pic of QR Code to easily access Blue Smart App for your iPhone or iPad.
How To USE The VTag Once you've completed the VTag setup process and it is successfully “Paired” with your iPhone/iPad, you are ready to use the VTag. If not, return to 3 Steps to SET UP VTag. Discovery (Main Panel) In this section, you’ll learn how to use the various features of your VTag. ➢ Tap on DISCOVERY to see VTag “Paired” (Main Panel) ==> Tap on VTag Paired ==> to see FIND ME & MUTE, along with the map (Device Panel).
➢ Tap FIND ME ==> the VTag will flash and beep the alert. ➢ If you can hear and/or see the VTag from where you are, you can MUTE the alert directly on the App and it will instantly silence the VTag. If you do not hear or see the VTag you may get up and walk around to find it. If it is in range, it will be flashing and beeping constantly. If not, use the map to find it to get back in range. ➢ Once found you may press the MUTE on App or the VTag buttons (on each side) to stop the beeps and flashing.
Control Panel Device Name ➢ Tap on the name of the VTag to rename it. A keyboard will prompt and a name for that VTag can be entered and saved. Button Control ➢ Silence and stop the alert with the button (on VTag) using the On/Off functionality. Link Loss Control ➢ On/Off functionality is available to mute or have your VTag endlessly alert you until found.
➢ There’s an adjustable slider. If you want to keep track of VTag within a shorter range than the 65 foot default, you may set it here. Range Control Proximity Alarm Range ➢ This controls whether the On/Off functionality is configured to sound the alert. Record ➢ The VTag will automatically record dates, times and locations, providing a log for your reference. Setting ➢ The settings are selfexplanatory for adjusting each VTag.
General Settings (Scenario Setting Panel) Background Notification ➢ This allows you to perform changes to the Disconnected Notify and Find Notify On/Off settings. Phone Sound ➢ This controls the phone alert/alarm On/Off function. Safe Zone ➢ This allows for On/Off functionality. When using one of your VTags, you may want to establish a safe zone (no alerts) and this function may be turned on here. ➢ Note: you cannot utilize the safe zone feature from the Device Control Panel.
➢ If VTag is in Power Off Status Press VTag Connection Button (•) & Function Button 5+ seconds to power on. Disconnected or Off ➢ When the VTag is disconnected or closed (Off) in the Blue Smart App, the VTag will sound two “beeps” and flash LED green lights. Paired = On & Connected ➢ The Blue Smart App will show that it’s Connected & Paired. Out of Range ➢ When VTag is out of wireless range, the VTag will have 5 seconds to sound alerts and flash red lights in 5 second intervals.
Find My iPhone/iPad Mild Alert ➢ Short Push Press VTag Connect & Function Button together, while in paired status, to trigger Mild Alert in iPhone/iPad. High Alert ➢ Long Push Press VTag Connect & Function Button together 4+ seconds, while in paired status, to trigger High Alert in iPhone/iPad. Notes/Tips: ➢ If VTag cannot be found by the iPhone, please touch [Setting > Bluetooth] on your iPhone and turn Bluetooth ON and OFF once to reset Bluetooth.
