When selecting the Captions
• You can select the OSD(On-Screen Display) language to be displayed.
• You can select the desired of ENGLISH, FRENCH,
ITALIAN, GERMAN, SPANISH, PORTUGUESE and
DUTCH.
When selecting the OSD Language
Notes :
• This unit can output a preferred digital signal format or no digital signal to the OPTICAL DIGITAL OUT jack. Therefore, you
should set the SPDIF Output to either OFF or corresponding setting(RAW or PCM) according to system connections, etc.
• When the OPTICAL DIGITAL OUT of the unit is connected to the DIGITAL IN of an amplifier which does not contain the DTS,
Dolby Digital decoder, etc.(which processes the bitstream signal) or MD recorder, etc.
You should set the SPDIF Output to(SPDIF/) PCM to convert Dolby Digital or DTS bitstream, etc. to linear PCM(2 channel) of
48 kHz/16bit and to output it.
• If the SPDIF Output is not set correctly, loud noise or no sound may be heard from the speakers, and it may be harmful to
your ears and damage the speakers.
When selecting the SPDIF Output
• A TV screen may be burned out if a static picture is displayed for a long time in the stop mode or the pause mode, etc.. To
prevent this, set the Screen Saver to ON. Then the unit automatically activates the screen saver function if a static picture is
displayed for over 5 minutes.
Note :
• The monitor screen of a projector or projection TV is easily burned out if a static picture is displayed for a long time. Be careful
not to allow the monitor screen to be burned out when the Screen Saver is set to OFF.
