Detection of the raman spectrum's peak and calculation of noise
The intensity value (F in the figure to the right) of the
emission wavelength that corresponds to the peak of
the raman spectrum is recorded in the instrument's
memory, and is used for calculation of the S/N ratio.

For noise, a section of baseline measured over 15
minutes is divided up at 30-second intervals, the
difference between the minimum and maximum noise
values in each interval is found, and the average value
across all the intervals is taken as the noise width.

If a system controller is connected, perform the following operation before starting sample analysis.

Turn the power to the system controller OFF.

Set [0] for [LOCAL] in the system settings group.

Restart the system controller.
NOTE
Before starting analysis when using a system controller or LCsolution, be sure to set [0] for [LOCAL] in the
system settings group, then restart the system controller and LCsolution.
