Once the Xenon lamp has been fitted in the lamp
unit, fit the parts that were removed by following
the procedure for their removal in reverse.

After the Xenon lamp has been changed, reset its cumulative operating time to [0].

!CAUTION
When fitting the cord terminal to the positive
(+) terminal of the Xenon lamp, make sure
that there is some slack in the cord.
If there is no slack in the cord and the positive (+)
terminal of the Xenon lamp is pulled by the cord
while the lamp is on, the lamp may break.
Be sure to tighten the knurled nut at the top of
the Xenon lamp by hand.
If a tool like a wrench is used, there is a risk of
breaking the Xenon lamp, causing leakage of the
gas inside it.
Connect the lamp and cord correctly as
shown in the figure to the right.
If the connection is not made correctly, the cord
could be damaged by heat generation.
