Fit the low-pressure Hg (mercury) lamp into the
lamp unit so that the slit in the low-pressure Hg
(mercury) lamp holder faces toward the back of
the instrument.
∗ Fit so that the two holes in the low-pressure Hg
(mercury) lamp holder mate with the positioning
pins on the lamp unit.

Using the two hexagon spacers that secured the
Xenon lamp to the instrument, secure the low-
pressure Hg (mercury) lamp holder to the lamp
unit.

Place the lamp unit in the instrument as it was
before.
NOTE
• The PTFE cover on the top face of the lamp unit need
not be returned to its original position.
• When a low-pressure Hg (mercury) lamp has been
fitted, it is no longer possible to fit the filters, lamp
cover 1 or lamp cover 2.
