The following is a list of the default settings for the PLEXTALK.

•Select recording mode: Default

•Select auto section setting: Off

•Select time to auto stop recording when no sound: Off

•Select trigger of starting recording: When record key is pressed.

•Select background noise level: Normal

•Turn guidance on or off when recording: Guidance on

•Select external audio input jack: Microphone mode

•Auto Gain Control: On

•Shuffle and repeat setting: Normal playback

•Reading audio file name: Read audio file name

•Multimedia DAISY playback setting: Auto

•Skippable: Play

•Playback setting for Voice Bookmark: Voice Bookmark on

•Select the waiting sound: Waiting sound 1

•Select the key press confirmation sound: Key press confirmation sound on

•Recording volume: 10

•Playback speed: Normal

•Playback tone: Normal

•Guidance volume: Normal

•Playback volume: 13

•Bookmarks: deleted

Note: Network settings are not deleted by initializing all settings to default. Refer to the

section 18.3.7 "Initializing network settings to default"
