Note: The internal memory for Voice Memos can only be backed up into "PlexBackup"

folder of SD card.

Note: Voice Memos are saved as a DAISY title with level 1 navigation. Each memo is

saved as a separate section.

Note: When backing up Voice Memos, all the Voice Memos are backed up. You cannot

back up a particular Voice Memo.

16.3. Backup a title

To backup a title, do the following:

•If necessary, insert an SD card or USB device with sufficient free space and ensure

that it is unlocked.

•Navigate, on the source media, to the title that you wish to backup, and press the

Enter key.

•Press the Number 9 key once to access the Backup feature.

•When backing up from a Music CD, press the Left or Right key to go to your

preferred audio compression and press the Enter key to confirm your selection.

•When backing up from a Music CD, PLEXTALK will ask you to which category you

are going to backup, "Music" or "Audio Book". Use the Left or Right key to select your

preferred category and press the Enter key.

•PLEXTALK will ask you to confirm that you wish to continue with the backup. Press

the Enter key to continue or the Cancel key to abort.

•If you choose to continue, the backup process will start. PLEXTALK will announce

when the backup is complete.

16.4. Backup time for music CD

For the range of available sample rates or bit rates, the approximate backup times are

given below:

Backing up about 50 minutes of audio from a music CD to SD card:

•PCM 44.1kHz Stereo: 35 minutes approximately.

•MP3 256kbps 44.1kHz Stereo High Quality: 50 minutes approximately.

•MP3 256kbps 44.1kHz Stereo: 40 minutes approximately.

•MP3 128kbps 44.1kHz Stereo High Quality: 55 minutes approximately.

•MP3 128kbps 44.1kHz Stereo: 40 minutes approximately.
