18.2. How PLEXTALK connects to a network
PLEXTALK automatically tries to connect to the network as long as "Enable or disable
network device" in the menu is "Enable".
Note: Refer to 18.1.1. "Enable wireless network device" to enable or disable the network
device.
PLEXTALK first tries to connect to the same network where it was connected the last time.
If it has failed to connect, PLEXTALK tries to connect to another network in the order of
priority set in PLEXTALK. Refer to 18.3.5 "Change or delete wireless network setting" for
more detail about priority.
After the network function is not used for more than five minutes without AC adaptor
power, it may take a few seconds to a few minutes at most for PLEXTALK to resume the
network function. This is because PLEXTALK turned the network function into power
saving mode and tries to reconnect to the network.

Information about current network connection can be confirmed by this menu. The
following information is available:
Access point
Signal strength
DHCP
IP address
Subnet mask
Default gateway
Primary DNS address
Secondary DNS address
MAC address of wireless network
Leased date of IP address
Expire date of leased IP adress
Address of DHCP server
