◎ If the other party’s phone number is not notified, Quick responses is not
available. Also, Quick responses may not be available depending on the
communication condition.

Answer a call with the message of the Answering
memo and record the other party’s message.
• While recording an Answering memo, tap [e]
[[Rcv. ON]/[Rcv. OFF] to turn on/off the other
party’s voice.
Reject Disconnect an incoming call. The other party will
hear voice guidance stating that “こちらはauで
す。おかけになった電話をお呼びしましたが、お出
になりません。” (This is au. We called the number
you have dialed, but no response).
Forwarding Forward an incoming call to the specified phone
number without answering it.
Silent Silence the ringtone and stop vibrator or incoming
lamp.

◎ When forwarding an incoming call without specifying a phone number, the
call is forwarded to Answering Service if you have activated the service.
Also, when Answering Service is suspended, you cannot forward calls.
Checking Your Phone Number

◎ If a micro au IC-Card is not inserted, “auIC Card(UIM) error. Please insert
card” appears when checking your profile. Tap “OK” to display the profile
screen. However, information such as Own phone number or ICCID is not
displayed. Also, some operations, such as attaching the contents of the
profile to mail, may not be carried out. Insert a micro au IC-Card and turn
on power again.
