Model W1844 (For Machines Mfd. Since 5/17)
ELECTRICAL
The voltage conversion MUST be performed by an
electrician or qualified service personnel.
The voltage conversion procedure consists of rewiring the
motor and installing the correct plug. A wiring diagram is
provided on Page 28 for your reference.
IMPORTANT: If the diagram included on the motor
conflicts with the one on Page 28, the motor may have
changed since the manual was printed. Use the diagram
included on the motor instead.

• Phillips Head Screwdriver #2 ............................1

• Wire Nut (14 AWG x 3) ....................................1
• 6-15 Plug ....................................................1
To convert the Model W1844 to 240V, do these steps:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Remove 5-15 plug from power cord.
3. Open motor junction box, then loosen wire nuts
indicated in Figure 3.
4. Use wire nuts to connect wires as indicated in
Figure 4. Twist all three wire nuts onto their
respective wires and wrap them with electrical tape
so they will not come loose.
5. Close and secure motor junction box.
6. Install 6-15 plug according to manufacturer's
instructions.
