GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
UNPACKING WITH FOLD DOWN HANDLE (not standard with all models) NOTE: ACCESSORIES AND FILTERS MAY BE PACKED IN TANK. 1. Lift fold down handle into upright position and lock in place. 2. To return handle to down position, push locked tabs to unlock position (unlocked symbol). 3. Lower handle. NOTE: handle must be in upright and in locked position to unlock lid latches. 4. Pull lid latches out from bottom, lift up on bottom of latch and bring down to side of tank. 5.
FILTER INSTALLATION AND CLEANING DRY PICK UP OPERATION NOTE: Never use the vacuum for dry pick up without a dry use filter installed on the lid cage. Using the vacuum without a filter will cause dust to discharge from blower port and cause damage to motor. INSTALLING AND CLEANING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER: WARNING – ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE PLUG FROM THE WALL OUTLET BEFORE REMOVING THE TANK COVER.
FILTER INSTALLATION AND CLEANING (CONT’D.) 8. Or rinse (from the inside of the filter) with water. Dry completely (approximately 24 hours). 9. Check the filter for tears or small holes. If none are found, reinstall the filter. To prevent damage to your vacuum, do not use a filter with a hole or a tear. CARTRIDGE FILTER CLEANER (not standard with all models) WARNING – ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE PLUG FROM THE WALL OUTLET BEFORE USING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER CLEANER.
FILTER INSTALLATION AND CLEANING (CONT’D.) 2. Remove filter cleaner brush. Remove filter retainer and cartridge filter. 3. Align the brush tabs with the opening of the locking unit on the rods. Snap the brush tabs into the locking unit on the rods. Brush is now locked in place. 4. Place the new cartridge filter and retainer into place. Filter cleaner brush must be removed for wet pickup or when using a foam sleeve. WARNING – KEEP FILTERS CLEAN.
FILTER INSTALLATION AND CLEANING (CONT’D.) 6. Slide the inlet deflector with the filter bag attached into the deflector guide. 7. Reinsert hose into inlet and tighten the locking-nut. 8. When secured in place, expand the filter bag and position around the inside of the tank. Replace tank cover. NOTE: When removing filter bag from tank, remove the inlet deflector from the filter bag collar. Reinstall inlet deflector into deflector guide. Inlet deflector must be in place for any type of cleaning.
FILTER INSTALLATION AND CLEANING (CONT’D.) 3. Shake excess debris off of the foam sleeve with a rapid up and down movement. 4. Hold foam sleeve under running water for a minute or two, rinsing from the inside of the filter. A water wash is not always required, depending on the condition of the foam sleeve. 5. Check the filter for tears. If any are found, replace with a new filter. BLOWER FEATURE Your vacuum can be used as a powerful blower.
STORAGE (CONT’D.) 3. Grasp the entire cord behind the handle and pull above the rear cord wrap, pull cord towards the front of the vac until the cord becomes disconnected from the front cord wrap. 4. Grasp the sides of the rear cord wrap and turn clockwise 180° to return it to its original position. 5. Accessories may be stored in the accessory caddy. The hose may be stored in the hose holder. To do this, place one end of the hose between the hose holder posts and the tank bottom.

INSTALLATION GÉNÉRALE 1. Avant de remettre le couvercle du réservoir, reportezvous à Ramassage de déchets secs ou à Ramassage de déchets humides du présent manuel d’utilisateur pour vous assurer d’avoir installé les filtres adéquats pour votre opération de nettoyage. 2. Replacez le couvercle du réservoir. Levez les loquets et placez-les dans les rainures sur le couvercle. Appuyez sur le bas des loquets pour les verrouiller en place. 3.

Maintenez le couvercle du réservoir d’une main, tournez la poignée du portefiltre dans le sens horaire pour la serrer, en verrouillant ainsi le filtre en place. 5. Pour enlever le filtre afin de le nettoyer, maintenez à nouveau le couvercle du réservoir et tournez le porte-filtre dans le sens antihoraire pour le desserrer et l’enlever. 6. Glissez la cartouche filtrante à l’extérieur du support de couvercle. 7.
INSTALLATION ET NETTOYAGE DU FILTRE (SUITE) 2. Déplacer la poignée du nettoyeur de cartouche filtrante de haut en bas 2 à 3 fois ou plus si nécessaire pour nettoyer le filtre. 3. Placer la poignée en position initiale et pousser les extrémités de la poignée vers le bas avec les poucespour la remettre en place. 4. Faire tourner l’embobineur de cordon de 180 degrés en sens horaire pour le remettre en position initiale.

Lorsque vous utilisez l’aspirateur pour ramasser des poussières fines ou des poudres de tous types (p. ex. plâtre, poussière cloisons sèches, cendres froides, poussière de béton, etc.), vous devez utiliser un sac filtre à haute efficacité pour cloisons sèches.
FONCTION DE SOUFFLEUR Votre aspirateur peut être utilisé comme puissante soufflerie. Pour utiliser l’appareil comme soufflerie, dévissez le couvercle du port de la soufflerie situé à l’arrière du couvercle du réservoir. Enlevez toute obstruction du tuyau. Insérez l’extrémité du tuyau comportant le contre-écrou dans le port de la soufflerie et serrez le contre-écrou. Ne serrez pas trop.
RANGEMENT (SUITE) 3. Saisissez l’ensemble du cordon d’alimentation inséré derrière la poignée et dégagez, en tirant au dessus de la section arrière du rembobineur. Tirez l’ensemble du cordon d’alimentation vers l’avant de l’aspirateur jusqu’à ce qu’il se dégage au complet de la section avant du rembobineur. 4. Saisissez les côtés de la section arrière du rembobineur et tournez un demi-tour dans le sens horaire pour le remettre dans sa position d’origine. 5.

MONTAJE GENERAL 1. Antes de volver a colocar la tapa del depósito, consulte las secciones sobre Aspiración de Sólidos o Aspiración de Líquidos del manual del usuario para asegurarse de que tiene instalados los filtros apropiados para su operación de limpieza. 2. Vuelva a colocar la tapa del depósito. Eleve los sujetadores y colóquelos en las ranuras sobre la cubierta. Presione sobre la parte inferior de los sujetadores para trabar en su lugar. 3.

Girar el enrollador de cable 180 grados en sentido horario para regresarlo la posición original. NOTA : No se puede usar la funda de espuma cuando el limpiador de filtro de cartucho está en la aspiradora.

ADVERTENCIA – PARA PARTÍCULAS FINAS DE POLVO Cuando aspire partículas finas de polvo de cualquier tipo (por ejemplo yeso, muro de mampostería, cenizas frías, polvo de cemento, etc.) debe utilizarse una bolsa filtrante para muro de mampostería de alta eficiencia. Cuando se aspiran residuos y polvo en el hogar, se pueden utilizar las bolsas filtrantes desechables estándar para uso doméstico. OPERACIÓN DE ASPIRACIÓN DE LÍQUIDOS 1.
FUNCIÓN DE SOPLADOR Esta aspiradora puede utilizarse como un soplador potente. Para usar la unidad como soplador, destornille la tapa del puerto del soplador ubicada en el lado posterior de la tapa del depósito. Extraiga cualquier obstrucción de la manguera. Inserte el extremo de la manguera con la tuerca de fijación dentro del puerto del soplador y apriete la tuerca de fijación. No apriete en exceso.
