Does your Wireless
System Operate in the
600 MHz Spectrum?
According to FCC rules, wireless microphones and
personal monitors that are capable of operating in the
auctioned 600 MHz spectrum (616-653 MHz and
663-698 MHz) will eventually be prohibited by law after
a transition period.
If a local mobile broadband licensee begins using the
600 MHz Band during this transition period, the
wireless user must change frequencies to avoid
interfering with them.
Shure offers a variety of wireless systems that operate in VHF, UHF, 900 MHz, and 2.4GHz Bands. Since January
2015, Shure has been discontinuing systems that operate in the 600 MHz Band.
Our goal is to help people make the transition from impacted products to new systems that will provide dependable
service and comply with updated FCC regulations. Customers using wireless systems that operate in the 600 MHz
Band should plan to transition to another range of spectrum.
To see if your system has been impacted by this FCC auction and is eligible for a trade-in rebate, simply follow the
